When you create an account on CribSquareNG, we collect your name, email address, and phone number where provided. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. When you submit an enquiry or book an inspection, we collect your contact details and message. We also collect usage data such as properties you view, save, or enquire about.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve CribSquareNG's property discovery and social networking services. This includes connecting you with real estate agents, personalising your property recommendations, sending you transactional emails (account confirmation, enquiry receipts), and notifying you of platform activity relevant to your account.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. When you submit an enquiry on a property, your name and phone number are shared with the listing agent so they can respond to you. We use Supabase to store your data securely and Resend to deliver transactional emails.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, ensuring users can only access data they are authorised to see. Passwords are never stored in plain text — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.
5. Your Rights
You can update your profile information at any time from your account settings. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@cribsquareng.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
6. Cookies
CribSquareNG uses cookies and local storage to maintain your authentication session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of CribSquareNG after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
